Pengenalan Metode Pembelajaran STEAM Kepada Para Siswa Tingkat Sekolah Dasar Kelas 1 Sampai 3

Abstract

Metode pengajaran berbasiskan science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) semakin banyak digunakan karena dipercaya mampu membangun kemampuan berpikir kritis pada siswa. Namun, metode ini masih cukup baru di Indonesia. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan metode STEAM kepada para siswa kelas 1 sampai 3 di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Istiqomah Kabupaten Bogor. Metode participatory action research (PAR), di mana siswa diberikan penjelasan, melakukan praktikum, dan berdiskusi secara langsung digunakan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini. Hasil dari diskusi setelah praktikum menunjukkan bahwa siswa sangat antusias dalam belajar menggunakan metode STEAM. Para siswa merasa bahwa metode STEAM sangat membantu mereka memahami materi pembelajaran. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengabdian masyarkat berjalan sukses dan bermanfaat bagi para siswa.
